Model Draft of Health Center

Pezie Heath Center, in Bafanji Cameroon

There are numerous locations in Cameroon where access to well-equipped hospitals or health centers is a challenge. One such place is Bafanji which is located in the northwest region of Cameroon. It is a rural area with a population of over 20,000. Bafanji is bordered by approximately eight other villages with over 50,000 inhabitants. Some of these villages including Bafanji, have health centers that are ill-equipped and can only take care of very minimal health issues. The nearest better equipped hospital is located over 50 miles away in the city of Bamenda. To get to Bamenda, you will need to travel through dirt roads that are unfortunately not easily accessible, especially during the rainy season. To help resolve this problem, a local health center will be constructed and established, and personnel trained to provide services.

This enterprise is named Pezie Health Project in honor of David Puwol’s mother who died prematurely due to the lack of health care access.
